A crazy lives next door, on the other side of my window. Sometimes at night I hear his guttural wailing breaking what would otherwise be tranquil silence.
Tonight it began before three am. They have music playing so loud I can hear it from every other room in the house; a strange mixture of 90's and late 80's club tracks. Perhaps it's just my imagination but every song seems to bear an ominous undertone; the persisting sadness of old fashioned perceptions and apocalyptic prophecies.

I no longer write as often as I used to. The reason for this might be that things are changing so rapidly these days that I can scarcely keep up with my ever darkening thoughts.
When I was young I could tell you exactly where I'd be in five years, what I'd be doing in ten years and and how much I'd accomplish in twenty.
Ten years later I'm three thousand miles from where I should be and thirty years older. If I kept using numbers I could list every thing that ever went wrong.
